The new year is already in full swing and before we know it summer will be upon us yet again. This summer as you know, St. Paul’s Life Teen will be taking our first trip to Life Teen’s camp Hidden Lake July 29th-August 3rd. If you have even been remotely considering Hidden Lake this summer here are 5 reasons why this trip is for you:
It’s a week in the beautiful mountains of Georgia where there is something for every teen at camp. You can zip line, rock climb, kayak class one rapids, hike, swim, paddle board, hang out in the art barn, jam with the musicians for the week, play board games etc.
You get to meet other amazing Catholic teens from across the country and even from our own backyard in Florida!
A chance to experience something new and different and nothing like you have ever experienced before.
You get the time to deepen friendships with your friends from St. Paul’s and maybe make some new friendships.
Finally and most importantly opportunities in a relaxed, and fun environment to encounter Christ and deepen your relationship with Him.
These are just some of the many reasons why Hidden Lake has become a must for summer plans for many teens across the country. But don’t just take my word for it, I reached out to some teens that have gone to Hidden Lake over the past few years and here is what they had to say:
“ Camp is such an amazing week which is unlike anything you have ever experienced. It is a week where you get to grow in your faith in a whole new way. The friendships that are formed at camp are so deep and the memories will definitely be lifelong. Camp will always be the highlight of my summer because it is so much fun a such a great time.” -Brianna
“Hidden Lake is a great time to disconnect and just focus on yourself and your relationship with the Lord. There’s a lot of fun things to do with your friends like kayaking and zip lining and you’ll encounter the Lord in a way you never have before.” -Emily
“Hidden Lake is the most beautiful camp I’ve been to and everyone there is striving to further their relationship with Christ. I enjoyed going to Hidden Lake because I grew closer to God, not only that but it was amazing to grow closer to my friends and other Catholics!”- Dak
“I only got to go once and it was right before I went to college and was in a place where I made my own decisions, like whether or not I wanted a life in the faith. Hidden Lake showed me a definite YES that this was the life I wanted to live, and what I wanted to be grounded in.” -Daly
“I wanted to go to Hidden Lake because I just knew that my faith life would be forever changed by going, and oh boy was I right.”-Angie
