Ellen Waters

I had the pleasure of growing up on the Alabama Gulf Coast, which is rich with Catholic values, traditions, and community. I studied Finance and Mathematics at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and graduated in the Spring of 2021. I made the move further south to St. Pete shortly after graduation and began working for Raymond James Financial as a Risk Management Analyst. Getting involved at St. Paul Catholic Church has been a tremendous blessing - I truly love the time I spend with high schoolers of our parish! In my free time you can find me reading my latest kindle download, taking a workout class at Pure Barre, or walking along the bay.

Stephen Buhrman

Hi, I’m Stephen! I’m very excited to be a part of the core team for Life Teen at St Paul’s. This kind of welcoming environment is such a wonderful space to provide for our community and its so cool to see returning teens each Sunday. A little bit about me:
I’ve had the pleasure of being a camp counselor AND camp director at a handful of different camps across the nation for 8 years now. Imagination has been my strongest tool wherever I go. As an improv comedy performer, I’ve only ever practiced and encouraged others to be their truest selves. More than ever, our teens should know that they can come as they are, no matter what stage of life their in, and we’ll be here to pray with them and be merry. My wife, Lauren, and I were raised on church youth group and we’re ready to start giving back!

Lauren Buhrman

Hi, I'm Lauren! My husband Stephen and I live in the sunshine city, St. Pete, and love being part of the St. Paul's parish family. I grew up closely involved in my home parish's youth group and learned so much from the dedicated youth ministers and young adult core there. It's an honor to pay it forward now, and pour into the awesome teens and young Catholics here in our community! In my free time you might spot me exploring St. Pete's various coffee shops, taking our dog Lucy for a walk, relaxing at the beach, or spending time with family. 💛

Hi! I’m Dana! I’m a mom and work as an addiction recovery specialist. Being a part of Life Teen is a blessing and I love sharing my faith AND learning from the youth!

Kelle Thompson

I’m Kelle. I’m married to Scott and I’m having his baby.
My life was turned upside when I was a teen and I remember how difficult and alone I felt. I hope that I could be the light for someone in darkness. I bring a compassionate heart to ministry which allows me to listen to the teens in a deeper way. God bless you.
